NEW ENGITEC PLANT IN CHINA

The Chinese Company LIAONING TELI ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION TECHNOLOGY CO,LTD awarded Engitec Technologies S.p.A of a contract for the supply of a complete used lead acid battery recycling plant to be installed in the new factory located in the Liaoning Province (P.R.C.). The new plant is suitable to process more than 150.000 t/year of lead-acid batteries and includes the most recent technologies, from the scrap battery feeding up to the final refined lead ingots. The future expansion of the plant will allow Teli to treat up to 300.000 t/year of scrap batteries. The most modern equipment and the cleanest recycling technologies will be installed in China soon: High Efficiency Energy System as well as low gaseous emission in terms of SO2, NOx and particulate in accordance with the last Chinese regulation.
